 | | | | September 19, 2002 Welcome to the Phillips neighborhood. This web site was created for my capstone project in the E-Commerce program at Dunwoody Institute. It is also affiliated with the Phillips Neighborhood Network (pnn.org) and is intended to describe the current status of Phillips' housing stock and explore the rich history of the Phillips neighborhood. While this site started as a final class project, it is just the beginning of a vast body of fascinating history. As the data comes in and this site grows, the past will come alive, revealing people and properties that have long since disappeared. My thanks go out to all the PNN board members who helped and encouraged me throughout this process. A special thank you to Paul and Susan-Hunter Weir for their generosity, support, fabulous meals, and interesting conversations. Sue works hard but revels in all of her history seeking endeavors. Paul makes me laugh. This project has been fun. — Dawn Wangen | | Minneapolis Neighborhoods | | |
